Description | NGC 7497 is a barred spiral galaxy located in the constellation Pegasus. It is notable for being positioned behind a faint, diffuse cloud of gas and dust known as the Integrated Flux Nebula (IFN), specifically the section cataloged as MBM 54. This IFN is part of our own Milky Way galaxy and is much closer to us than NGC 7497. |
