Description SH2-142, also known as the Wizard Nebula, is an emission nebula in the constellation Cepheus, associated with the young star cluster NGC 7380. It is a popular target for astrophotography, known for its reddish glow from ionized hydrogen and its distinctive shape, often resembling a sorcerer. The nebula is ionized by massive stars in the cluster, particularly the binary star DH Cephei.
