DescriptionBarnard 228, also known as the Dark Wolf Nebula or Lupus 1, is a prominent dark nebula located in the constellation Lupus. It’s a star-forming region within the Lupus Molecular Cloud, approximately 500 light-years away from Earth. The nebula is characterized by dense, dark clouds of gas and dust that obscure the light from stars behind it.
