NGC 3576 Statue of Liberty Nebula

Description The Statue of Liberty Nebula, also referred to as LDN 3576, is a bright emission nebula situated in the Sagittarius Arm of the Milky Way, approximately 9,000 light-years away from Earth. It is recognized for its unique shape, which resembles the Statue of Liberty, and is an area of active star formation. This nebula is part of the larger RCW 57 nebula complex.

Distances/Size Distance to the object- 9,000 light years and is about 100 light years in diameter.
